| Description |
Tenders are invited from organisations/agencies wishing to provide an Advocacy Service for substance misusers in East Sussex, on behalf of the East Sussex Drug and Alcohol Action Team. Tenders are invited from suitable qualified organisations/agencies, able to demonstrate experience and a proven track record in delivering high quality services in the areas of advocacy and/or substance misuse.The contract will be awarded for 12 months, with an expected commencement date as of March 31st. If you have some experience of counselling, group work and/or substance misuse or are looking to move into this field of work, you could join us by providing occasional daytime, overnight and weekend cover. Not only will you really help the smooth running of the service - you'll have the flexibility to balance your own life. Shift work - including sleep ins for which an additional allowance is paid, is part of this role so a flexible approach is essential. |

Substance Misuse Health Promotion Worker |
| Description |
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Substance Misuse Health Promotion Project in Brighton and Hove. The post holder will undertake the lead in the development, evaluation and delivery of evidence based substance misuse prevention strategies, policies and programmes to the diverse population of Brighton & Hove. The post holder will work as part of a team and lead on Substance Misuse health promotion interventions. This will involve the development of evidence based substance misuse prevention for front line staff in both statutory and non-statutory sectors. You will require an understanding of drug treatment provision. |
